The homelike assisted living and memory care community contains four distinct neighborhoods with 25 assisted living studio apartments for those with early-stage dementia and 25 memory care studios for residents with advanced dementia or Alzheimers disease. Each building features abundant natural light to help elevate residents moods and regulate sleep patterns. The cozy setting provides a sense of security and comfort that helps reduce feelings of confusion and loneliness often felt by those with dementia. A familiar daily routine includes dementia-specific activities, such as scrapbooking, memory box engagement and creative writing. Self-expression through art and music might include sing-alongs, crafting, gardening and cooking. Residents participate in gentle exercise programs in the therapy fitness room.
