These neighborhoods are designed similarly to minimize anxiety and encourage socialization. The facility encourages residents to bring their own bedroom furnishings, and even their pets, to help them feel at home. Residents can explore the enclosed gardens and walking paths, read books on the patio or join one of the communitys many clubs, such as the restaurant club. Dietitian-approved meals are served in the dining room, and family members can dine with residents at any meal. Residents individual care plans are overseen by an on-staff doctor and provided by a range of on-site health services, such as dental services, are available.
