Life Enhancement Managers who have trained in Validation Therapy plan active schedules for seniors in memory care to help preserve cognitive function and help ensure they remain engaged in daily life. Validation Therapy is focused on catering to a resident's needs and emotional state by asking open-ended questions, matching their emotion and appropriately rephrasing their requests or thoughts. A normal day may consist of carefully planned activities such as walking club, classic movie showing, arts and crafts and gardening club. Caregivers are available 24/7 to assist residents with the daily activities of living, and three daily meals are provided.
